I remember letting out a sigh when it was first announced they were going to reboot Evil Dead. The fear of having a beloved film series destroyed suddenly loomed in my mind. Regardless of this I knew that as a fan I would watch the film despite thinking “Is this really necessary?”. After watching the film last night I am glad to say that yes it was.

The new ad for the upcoming Star Trek: The Video Game stars none other than the original Captain Kirk (William Shatner) and an old-school Gorn.  In the ad the two longtime foes sit down for some good old fashioned co-op goodness which then turns into a hilarious recreation of their original battle from the 1960’s tv show.

Latest Poster For Guillermo Del Toro’s Pacific Rim Shows Off Japan’s Mech, Coyote Tango.

Guillermo Del Toro’s upcoming mecha film, Pacific Rim just keeps looking better and better as we inch closer to the movies July 12th release date this Summer. The film pits humanity against the Kaiju, Alien lifeforms that have emerged from the sea. In order to combat this new menacing evil, massive robots called Jaegers have been created. The films latest poster puts a spotlight on Japans Jaeger, Coyote Tango.

Mondo and Scott Pilgrim creator team up on this new awesome Battle Royale poster

Now that Mondo and Tugg, Inc. have teamed up to bring the classic Japanese action thriller film Battle Royale to movie theaters all across the country, Scott Pilgrim author and artist Bryan Lee O’Malley and Mondo’s Kevin Tong have teamed up to celebrate. Posted over at Super Hero Hype, O’Malley and Tong collaborated on this pretty awesome Battle Royale poster along with a variant that will be available at the various Tugg screenings of the film.
