Its been awhile, my good friend.

It feels really good to boot up my PS3 and for once it isn’t a Blu-Ray movie. It was almost to the point where I forgot the thing even plays games. With God of War 3, Heavy Rain, Yakuza 3, and Uncharted 2 just to name a few, the PS3 has been on a hot streak. I know what you are probably thinking my friends, that the PS3 does have games. You are absolutely right, it does have games. The thing is that I normally get all multi platform releases on my 360. No, I don’t hate SONY or the PS3. Its just the fact that in my opinion, Xbox Live is such a more refined online community compared to PSN. I just hope SONY keeps this momentum going in the right direction. I think that with Modnation Racers, the MOVE and SOCOM 4 they might. I do find it pretty funny that last generation it was the opposite with me getting all my games on the PS2 and only the exclusives on the Xbox. My how the tables have turned. This is exactly what the PS3 needed though, a nice batch of exclusive games. The only thing left is…

The good kind of pain…

Make no mistake folks, Mega Man 10 means business. The game is as hard as ever. The thing is though, its still a fun and satisfying experience. I am loving the route Capcom is going with Mega Man. Most other developers would never try something like this. Who would have thought that the two latest Mega Man titles would have looked the same to their 8-bit ancestors. Not me that’s for sure. Nintendo went ahead and pretty much confirmed what we all knew this week by announcing the often rumored successor of the DS, the Nintendo 3DS. This handheld can supposedly handle some kind of 3D technology without the need for the lame glasses. How does it work you ask? No one really knows yet, but it will be playable in some form in June at E3. I am a bit skeptical of the 3DS, but at the same time I an intrigued as to how it will work out. Things are looking interesting in the video game world as of late. It looks like 3D is the new thing nowadays and  I for one welcome our new friend Mr. 3D to our world of movies and games. I think…

God of Motherfucking War…

“Holy shit.” That’s pretty much what I was saying the entire time I was playing God of War III. It is supposed to be the end of the trilogy, and man does it end in style. Kratos is back, looking for revenge and nothing will get in his way, not even Gods. I mean the beginning sequence is probably more epic than most other games finales. The story picks up right where part 2 left off, on top of a Titan on his way to Olympus. Everything in this game is tight and most of all gorgeous. The game runs with such fluidity it is insane. Sony’s Santa Monica Studios definitely put a lot of work in crafting this masterpiece. If you have played any of the other titles in the series there is nothing new or different as far as game play. So if you are looking for some innovation you might be a tad disappointed. They took the same formula but added so much polish and detail that you wont even care. The combat is still as solid and brutal as ever and the QTEs are still jaw dropping(even more so with the added power of the PS3)….

Mmmm…Deja vu.

If you ask a bunch gamers who played Bioshock 2 you would probably get a lot of mixed feelings. It seems that a lot of people were not too fond of the title at all, deeming it …unnecessary. The rest of the people would probably say they had a blast and enjoyed the hell out of it. I fall into the latter category. I don’t care if I feel like I have been there before. I really a good time during my second trip to Rapture. Was the game really needed? Probably not to be honest, but that’s not to say it’s a bad game. It is just more of the same game you loved the first time, just seen through a different perspective. You are the first Big Daddy ever created. You wake up from 10 years of slumber because your Little Sister is back in Rapture, and needs your help. There is really nothing new as far as visuals and the enviorment goes. The city of Rapture is still as you left it, an underwater deathtrap with Splicers around every corner ready to kill you. This does not mean its not as entertaining as the first, I just…

Weird Week…

I gotta start by saying it has been a weird week in the gaming world. First with the whole “ApocolyPS3” debacle. It’s funny how one day of PSN being down can cause such an uproar. It wasn’t that big of a deal for me since as of late its rare to turn on my PS3 for  a game unless its an exclusive. The funny thing is that it only affected older or “Fat” PS3s, which is what I own. I know people would probably disagree but I seriously would not mind paying for PSN as long as it was as solid as Xbox Live. I do not mind giving my money to something as long as its worth it. PSN just feels…incomplete. I hope the rumors are true and they will start charging us for the service. The other thing that happened was the whole Infinity Ward vs Activision battle that started early in the week. I really can’t believe they got rid of Jason West and Vince Zampella. The two men in charge of the studio who probably kept Activision afloat last year. The grounds for dismissal was supposedly insubordination and breaches of contract. You know normally I would…

e-diots Reboot.

Welcome back Luis and Marcos! You know since we are probably the only two who come here any more. It finally happened though e-diots is up and running. We thought it would be a good idea seeing how all these movie franchises and being rebooted. We thought to ourselves ” If they can do it so can we!” So there, that’s the real reason we are back…movies. Now that we are officially live again it feels good to be honest. This has just been something we kept putting off and putting off. This time though it just feels right. Anyways welcome to all and hopefully you end up loving what we do. I can promise that we will do all we can to entertain you folks.
