Looks like Marvel might have some big plans for the Hulk in their Phase 3 movies – Spoilers Ahead!

It looks like Latino Review is back once again with more juicy rumors about Marvels movie plans and boy do they sound epic. I think what makes these rumors even more exciting is that the folks at Latino Review have had a pretty good track record so far when it comes to their leaks. So, if you do not want any part of  The Avengers 2 or 3 being spoiled, please do not read any further. Spoilers ahead!!!

According to Marvel this collection will be presented in a beautiful Hardcover/Slipcase format that will stand over a foot tall, includes 720 pages and will weigh in at 16 pounds (you can check out some of the images that Marvel posted below). Trailer – DC’s Superman Unbound

The nerd culture website Nerdist has premiered the first trailer to DC’s upcoming Superman Unbound animated film and I have to say it looks pretty solid so far. Which to be honest I am not really surprised considering that practically all of their animated efforts so far have been very well done. Superman Unbound will be based on Geoff John’s and Gary Frank’s excellent Brainiac story arc from 2008. In it, Superman faces off with his longtime foe/nemesis Brainaic after finding out he has his sights set on Earth and wants to add Metropolis to his miniaturized collection of specimens. Now all we need is for DC’s Live action films to match this quality and we will be all set. Lets hope the upcoming Man of Steel is a step in the right direction. Superman Unbound will be coming out on Blu-ray, DVD and Digital download in the near future.

Will the PS4 be announced on February 20th?

In what seems to be a huge tease, Sony released a video on their Playstation Blog that indicates there will be a big Playstation related announcement on February 20th at 6pm EST. According to IGN this announcement will be during a big Playstation event in New York City. The general consensus online seems to be that they will announce the Playstation 4 (code named Orbis). Which would be interesting considering that just a week ago Sony was saying they would wait for Microsoft to make the first move. Whatever the announcement may be I am sure that most of the world will be glued to their PCs that evening (including myself). I just hope we aren’t getting all worked up for something like a PS Vita “Slim” reveal. -M

Grand Theft Auto V has been delayed to September

It looks like Rockstar has decided to push back the release date for the highly anticipated GTA V. The game will now hit store shelves on September 17th, 2013. According to their announcement, they need more time to add some extra polish so it will live up to the standards they have already set themselves. As excited as I am for the game I can honestly say that I do not mind waiting an extra 4 months if it’s to fine tune the game.  Also,  the delay will give us time to play and focus on some of the other big titles that are on the horizon (Bioshock Inifinite and Tomb Raider to name a few). What do you guys think? Does this delay cause rage to build within your souls or are you at peace with the announcement?

Hyrule Historia has arrived!

Well folks, my workday has just gotten a bit better as I have just received my copy of the Legend of Zelda: Hyrule Historia book (which is surprisingly much bigger than I originally expected!). I cannot wait to go home and rip open the shrink wrap and nerd out. For those of you who had no idea this glorious book even existed let me fill you in.  The Hyrule Historia is basically an in depth look into all things Legend of Zelda. Inside you will find anything from never-before-seen concept art, character designs and it also supposedly includes an Official Chronology of the games. This book previously came out in Japan and it was announced to be released and published here in the U.S by Dark Horse. If you are interested in the book do yourselves a favor and snag a copy as soon as possible just in case it ends up becoming rare (you don’t want to end up having to buy a copy off of ebay for a ridiculous amount). I got my copy off of Amazon. It is currently going for a little over $20. I will try to post some impressions later on but I can’t…

Star Wars Black Series unveiled by Hasbro.

Hasbro unveiled their new Star Wars “Black Series” line of figures yesterday afternoon.  Including a higher level of detail and standing at 6 inches, these new figures are definitely a far cry from their normal 3-inch figure line.  Hasbro seems to finally be targeting the “adult collector” crowd. The first wave of four will be out sometime in August and will include Luke Skywalker in his X-Wing Fighter flight suit, Astromech droid R2-D2,  Darth Maul and an Imperial Sandtrooper. So what do you guys think? I am actually pretty excited about this new line as I have never really been a fan of the smaller “vintage” figures. Sign me up Hasbro. -M

It’s-a me, Mario Kart 7!

I just got my copy of Mario Kart 7 tonight. I haven’t been this pumped for a Mario Kart game since Mario Kart 64. Everything I have read/seen on the game so far has looked excellent. Everything from the customization to the Online Network looks very solid. I also love how Nintendo is trying to create an ACTUAL community with this title (It’s about time!). Well enough chit chat from me, its time to hit the Circuits! Expect some first impressions from me sometime tomorrow. -m
