Oh, it’s been a while since I came looming through these pages. Been a while since I breathed some life into the site, but it’s good to be back.

I started e-diots in 2000, when I was in high school. It started out as ambition for trying something new, the fulfillment of getting my creations out to the internet, and thanks to the – then – semi-success of Scott Kurtz, and Jerry and Mike, it gave me inspiration to try as hard as I could. Unfortunately, I think, as much fun of a person as I can be in person, and as funny as I can be on the fly, I’m just positively not funny on paper, let alone transferring it into a 3 to 4 panel comic strip. I met Eddie in 2001, and seeing as we were on the same page as far as interests went, (gaming, comics, and all-around nerds), we teamed up to add a little funny to the strip, suggesting we make the comic about what we know and love, as opposed to stupid high school antics. (“Do what you know, not what you think you know” – someone said that shit, I’m sure of it).

Later that year, I met Marcos, and we also clicked. The three of us formed an alliance not unlike the Super Friends, or the Wonder Twins and Gleek. We were inseparable, and we thought we were funny. I allowed school to get in the way of our project on and off, and the site had died off a couple of times at first. By the end of 2002, I had moved out of my home state to pursue other things, but we attempted to keep the bond and keep the project going. After a nice attempt, friendships soured, I dropped the site altogether, and we parted ways.

Marcos and I always kept in touch. We had a thing. A bond, one which did not need a ceremonious friendship ring. Oh no, we defied that ritual. Some called it sacrilege, we called it true friendship. It’s been, what, now six years, (as of this writing), and we now have had enough talks, enough time, and enough “oomph” to get us going. That, and WordPress and Comicpress is helping us ten-fold.

TL;DR: I started this website ten fucking years ago (holy shit), and it died and resurrected itself god knows how many times, Eddie parted, Marcos stayed, we’re starting again now, in 2010, and we’re fucking here to stay.

So stay with us this time. Please?
