Which online pass? The EA ones!

That’s right, after EA introduced the ever so loved by all online pass with all of their titles that included any form of online features, EA decides to call it quits on the idea. Citing that customer feedback was less than stellar on the idea, EA has decided to nix it.

“We’ve listened to the feedback and decided to do away with it moving forward.”

In an email to GamesBeat, John Reseburg confirmed the deed. “None of our new EA titles will include that feature.” He added, “We’ve listened to the feedback and decided to do away with it moving forward.” Gamers everywhere were saddened by this news; losing features from your favorite games is never a good thing. As I write this, myself and many other gamers nationwide are already saving $10 for every EA game we plan on buying this year to send over to EA to let them know that we enjoyed giving them even more money for an incomplete game that we owned in our hands.

At least, that’s probably how they look at it.

“Initially launched as an effort to package a full menu of online content and services, many players didn’t respond to the format,” Reseburg said.

No shit.
