Rayman Legends Delayed Until Fall, Now Also Heading To PS3 & Xbox 360

Polygon is reporting that the once Wii U exclusive Rayman Legends has been delayed by Ubisoft. The title will now be released in “Early” September instead of February 26th and will launch on all 3 platforms (Wii U, Xbox 360 and PS3). Ubisoft mentioned that they had received a lot of requests from fans of Rayman Origins to bring the title to Xbox and Playstation.

Rayman Legends for the Wii U will still the keep all of its exclusive Gamepad features according to Ubisoft. The Xbox and Ps3 versions will be very similar to Origins in terms of gameplay and co-op features.

After seeing this announcement I am now curious if this is any indicator of Ubisoft’s confidence in the Wii U faltering. Either way, Rayman fans can rejoice as we will all be able to play as our favorite limbless hero this fall.

  1. Ugh. Why, Ubisoft? Didn’t you learn your lesson? Now this shit’s not going to sell. Again. Just like with Origins.
