DC to add Batman/Superman comic back into its lineup

It looks like the world’s finest may be getting back together.

The USA Today is reporting that Greg Pak and Jae Lee are teaming up to work on the returning ongoing series Batman/Superman.

Greg Pak, most known for writing various Marvel titles such as World War Hulk and X-Treme X-Men will be making his DC Comics debut writing the new team up comic, while Jae Lee of The Inhumans and The Dark Tower fame will be handling the art.

Pak had the following to say about the upcoming work:

“Working in comics, almost every project you do for DC or Marvel deals with these amazing characters that are so much fun to work with, But, wow, Superman and Batman? That kind of lifts your hat and spins it around in the air a bit.

“It is a real thrill, and it’s particularly a thrill because we’re being given some real leeway to do some really important storytelling with these characters. It really defines some great things and to depict some really key moments for them.”

Justice League will continue featuring Batman and Superman along with other DC Superheros in the present day time line, while Batman/Superman will focus on the two heroes meeting for the first time early in their superhero careers.
